Sarah Bradley, Specialized Instructor
Sarah has enjoyed teaching Visual Art at Trousdale School since Spring 2011. She holds an B.F.A in Studio Art from Belmont University (2005) and an M.A. in Art History from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2008). Sarah believes that art education is diversely useful in giving students tools for self-expression and in encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving. Recent projects at Trousdale School have included impressionist landscapes, mathematical tessellations, painting and creative movement, hand-woven textiles, crayon batik, papier-mâché sculpture, and drawing "en plein air."
Sarah lives in Chattanooga with her husband, Michael, and two daughters, Rosemary and Lucy. They worship at Ooltewah Baptist Church, where Michael is the Minister of Youth and Outreach. Sarah teaches high school Sunday School and sings in the choir. In her free time she enjoys cooking, knitting, and reading.
